A studio for the slow-made.
AURUM was founded on a single idea: that clothing should feel like an artifact — heavy, considered, and designed to age gracefully under the sun.

Where every garment is made.
Our pieces are produced in a small family-run atelier just outside Porto. The team is twelve people, most of whom have worked together for over a decade. We make in small runs, with full transparency from fibre to finish.
We prefer natural materials — heavy cottons, Belgian linens, mulberry silks, extra-fine merino. We never blend with synthetics. The cost is higher; the garment lasts decades.
"We are not interested in trend. We are interested in things that hold up — to wear, to weather, and to time."
— Inês Mendes, Founder
Natural fibres only.
Each season we work with a small list of mills — most of them family-run, all of them within a day's drive of our atelier. The list is short on purpose. We know the people, the looms, and the water.
